Research Areas: Inflammatory bowel diseases, Gastroesophageal reflux disease, Precancerous gastric lesions, Helicobacter pylori infection and Fatty liver disease are among his research interests.

Selected Studies: “Prevalence of Helicobacter pylori infection in patients with Dementia who underwent Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG) and the effect of preventive single dose ceftrixone plus pantaprazole therapy on Helicobacter pylori infection. Medical Science and Discovery, (2022).” “NLR and PLR as novel prognostic biomarkers of mucosal healing in ulcerative colitis patients treated with anti-TNF. Inflammatory Bowel Diseases, (2020).” “Evaluation of serum CXC chemokine ligand 16 (CXCL16) as a novel inflammatory biomarker or familial Mediterranean fever disease, (2021).” “Landmark reading alterations in patients with gastro-oesophageal reflux symptoms undergoing diagnostic gastroscopy, (2016)” “Serum matrix metalloproteinase-9 and tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase-1 expression in patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, (2015).” are some of the articles he authored and co-authored.
