Research Areas: Investigation of probiotic bacteria of human and food origin.

Analyses of chemical structures (fatty acids, mycolic acids, polar lipids, vitamins and carbohydrates) forming the bacterial cell wall by GC, GC-MS, HPLC and PyMS. Investigation of surface active properties of microorganisms. Investigation of antibiotic resistance of pathogenic P. aeruginosa and S. aureus and antimicrobial activity of some actinobacteria species on pathogens. Bacterial systematics.
