Selected Studies: In 2015, he became an Emergency Medicine Specialist from Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Emergency Medicine by preparing his thesis titled “The Relationship Between Serum Nesfatin-1, Leptin and Ghrelin Levels and Clinical Severity and In-Hospital Mortality in Patients with Spontaneous Subarachnoid Hemorrhage Presenting to the Emergency Department”. He has a total of 13 scientific publications, including 12 original research articles and 1 case report published in journals scanned within the scope of SCI and SCI-Expanded. He has a total of 15 scientific publications, including 9 research articles and 6 case reports, published in journals indexed by international indexes other than SCI and SCI-Expanded. He has a total of 3 scientific publications, including 2 research articles and 1 case report in journals scanned by ULAKBIM. He has 26 oral presentation/poster papers presented at international and national symposiums and congresses and published in the abstract book. He has 2 internationally published book chapter authorships and 1 book chapter authorship published domestically. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Metin OCAK’s scientific publications have been cited in many international/national journals.
