Research Areas: Evaluation of immunity and immunization after treatment in childhood cancers, follow-up and treatment of long-term side effects of drugs used in childhood cancers, causes and treatment options for thrombosis in children, diagnosis and treatment of rare childhood hematological diseases.

Selected studies: Platelet function alterations and their relation to P-selectin (CD62P) expression in children with iron deficiency anemia. Blood Coagul Fibrinolysis. Parenteral glutamine supplementation has no effect on chemotherapy-induced toxicity in children with non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
